Okay, now yesterday has been extremely interesting.
1) In the morning: when my alarm clock rang, meaning it was time to get up [yeah, usually that's how it works!], I was having nightmares about my boss wondering how much money she was supposed to invest for my funeral
, and all I could think was "it can't be 7:30 already!". Well, it could!
So I got up with inhuman efforts and struggled my way to the library, aiming straight to my chair, where I sat in a trance-like state until Desy said "maybe we should open the doors...". Mmmh, yeah, I don't see how people could manage to get in if we don't, good point! With little energies left, having opened the door, I sat down again and basically stared at the screen until it was time to go home. Nice and useful! Well, actually we did do something: we told a girl she couldn't borrow books without her card for the millionth time, made fun of a guy in his blog [for a reason! We're good girls!
], updated our own blog and listened to the radio. Tiring!
2) On my way home: when I got off the bus I was almost run over by a scary woman who was frantically running with a little kid clung to her arm. She reached the front of the vehicle and yelled to the driver: "did you happen to see a Minotaur?"
I just burst out laughing: I can assure you the expression on the driver's face was priceless!!! ![]()
3) After dinner: I was just chilling with dANIEL when I had the infamous idea of drinking while he was telling me something that I should have known would have made me laugh... so, the water was in my mouth, I inhaled air and at the same time I laughed, so the water got a little confused and went the wrong way, straight to my lungs! Aaahhh!!! I couldn't breathe and basically I was choking!
I kept trying to get some air, but I was panicking because it hurt too much: my nose, my throat, my lungs, everything! Now, I didn't see tunnels, lights or flashbacks of my life... I had just one thing on my mind that sounded like "f**k, I'm not going to make it!". When I finally managed to take something similar to a proper breath and I began to calm down I started thinking about all the experiences I would have missed if I had died... especially one, but I'm not going to tell, ehe ehe! ![]()
So this is it! I guess you can say that when we're together, dANIEL and I, we forget the word "boredom" ever existed.
From now on I'm drinking only when a straw is involved, by the way. Just in case... . ![]()
